Back from HK. Good times, good times indeed. It really was everything everyone said it was and so much more. I spent my life savings at Marc Jacobs but it was all worth it man. Got to hang out with Kwokie and Jacko and eat lots of yummy food. Both my parents caught the flu towards the end but I came out somehow untouched. C!tySuper & Causeway Bay are two of my new favorite places.
Anyways, back in Beijing. Chinese New Year was good. Didn't go out to check out the fireworks this year but saw an eyeful from our balcony. I bet everyone down there was like "Oh yeah...there goes five grand." Decent hong bao haul this year. I finally did some homework today, after three weeks of lounging about doing jack squat.
Supernatural was freakin' awesome as usual! But gosh, this episode. I couldn't stop laughing. It was just a volcano of LOLOLOLOLOLness. The boys really proved their worth as actors and the show has been so consistently impressive, it makes me oh so happy. Colbert and Stewart have been really impressive as well. GOSH I LOVE TELEVISION.
Six random things on my mind.
1. So if Stalin means "Man of Steel" does that mean Superman's name in Russian is Stalin? I bet lots of children are very, very confused.
2. I love it when I look under my bed and find magazines that are loaded with awesome pictures of pretty people.
3. I am definatly going to name one of my kids Wentworth.
4. Tis been a pretty good weekend. Not seeing Placebo wasn't the end of the world. Didn't get much work done but I did get Mia to watch Supernatural so umm...that's good enough for me.
5. Weather's looking good for Hainan. I can start packing tomorrow :D
6. I also love Youtube and will now shower you all with gag reels.
We've successfully survived our first week of school. What most people have to show for it is a pile of homework but I have one hell of a sore throat. I was feeling funny last night but I woke up this morning and I couldn't talk. It hurts so swallow/eat/drink/breathe/be awake so I slept all day. Like seriously, all day. I'm so screwed. My to-do list for this weekend is 20+ things and I've managed to do about 6. TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE A LONG DAY.
I was doing some Supernatural rewatching because I was feeling nostalgic for Jensen Ackles and I realized how much I adore Dean. I mean not just because he's SO VERY SMOKING HOT but because he is a strong character. He's such a great big brother and protective and guh. Something Wicked was an amazing episode and probably when Dean became my favoritest character. There aren't enough Dean Winchesters in the world. :( ACCIO SEASON TWO.
Random note to self: buy a Swiss Army Knife.
Is it a bad thing that I've started to pack for Hainan already? Frankly, I'm really releived that selected members of our class won't be attending the trip. It's going to be twice as much fun and relaxing when I don't have to see them hover towards each other. But I'm still so totally bummed out Shin isn't going. HSK? WTF WHO CARES! BEIJING REN!!
