I got kneed in the face at the Panic/Hushsound/Motion/Phantom Concert, and dropped my phone in the toilet (water damage does not entitle you to the warranty, note it) and therefore will not possess a phone for a bit more than a week (got a replacement on ebay because the cheapest one at retail at the store was $200).
As I was bitching and crying about my misfortunes, I realized something about myself that I need to change: I sometimes forget to remind myself that things such as scars, losing your cellphone, or even break ups should not be seen as the end of the world. Not when there are millions of people in this world who do not even have the basic necessities of life and are constantly fighting for survival.
Live the bigger picture.
It may just make you a happier person with what you already have rather than someone who cries over things they've lost.
